Happy Dragon Boat Festival everyone! 端午节快乐 ! Yesterday was a special day in the Chinese calendar and our team came together to eat sticky rice dumplings (粽子 Zongzi) and celebrate. We have also just released a workshop video on youtube so you can learn the history of this festival and how to make Zongzi at home! In the morning we ran an online workshop with students from the Arts Faculty. The students learnt about the festival and together we created beautiful Chinese knotted keychains using a special knot called 'pingjie' (平结).

From next week our University will begin slowly transitioning staff back on campus. We look forward to being able to greet you all over the coming months as campus life slowly gets back to a new normal.

Winter has truely felt here with the frosty mornings of late, we hope you are keeping warm. Our Children's Poetry Sing-Along Program is now in full swing and we are excited to announce enrolments will remain open for the duration of the course. It's hard to believe winter is just around the corner with the beautiful weather today! Thank you to everyone who joined our paper cutting workshop yesterday. It's great to be able to teach you something simple and creative, which you easily do at home.
