It is highly recommended to book workshops at least 30 days in advance. Workshop enquiries made within two weeks of the planned date are very difficult to plan and may not run. In the event of extreme weather conditions, outdoor workshops (such as Tai Chi and Jianzi) shall be changed to an indoor venue or to an indoor workshop, for example Chinese calligraphy or paper cutting. Please note workshop hours should be between 8.30am and 5pm on weekdays. All workshops are 45 minutes in length. There is a minimum number of 10 participants required for workshop viability and a maximum number of 30 participants that can be accommodated. For incursions, please ensure all equipment is set up for the workshop(s) prior to Confucius Institute staff arrival. Any accommodation or travelling costs incurred by Confucius Institute staff is to be covered by the school/organisation. Other workshop activities may be available upon request. All workshop bookings are subject to availability of teachers and/or teaching rooms on the university campus. $5.50 per participant for school bookings and $6 per participant for councils, libraries and adult professional development.
