New 'OzAsia Talks' link artists from across Australia and Asia discussing the future of creativity and cultural engagement
This time of year would usually be buzzing with activity thanks to OzAsia Festival. This year they are running a series of conversations titled 'OzAsia Talks' chaired by incoming Artistic Director, Annette Shun Wah. Artists from across Australia and Asia will connect across borders to discuss the role of arts and culture – and the future of creativity and cultural engagement.

Did someone say free Mooncakes?
To kick off the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations this year, in today's Chinese Conversation Corner participants will learn the origins and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Those who attend can also collect a FREE Moon Cake from our office to help celebrate. On October 1st, from 12-1pm, we will also have a stall in the hub with music, activities and more mooncakes!

Welcome to another Friday Roundup. Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday night for the Cultural Quiz Night. We had a great turnout with people even joining us from cities across Australia and overseas. It was great to see everyone's engagement in learning the different phrases from other languages and answering the quiz questions.
