The Lunar New Year celebrations continue this Saturday with the annual Chinatown street party on Gouger Street from 11:30 am - 9:30 pm. We will have a stall featuring calligraphy and a quiz where participants can win prizes for correctly answering questions. There will also be other activities, delicious food and entertainment. There is something for the whole family so be sure to come along and immerse yourself in the cultural festivities.
A reminder also our Children's Chinese Poetry Class and Chinese Conversation Corner will resume shortly. Further information on these two programs can be found below

Welcome to the first Friday Roundup of December, and the second to last Roundup of the year. Thank you to everyone who registered for our public webinar. Unfortunately, we had to postpone this event, but keep an eye out for a new date which will be announced early next year. Welcome to the last Friday Roundup of October. The year is drawing to a close, but we still have a few more activities and events coming up, be sure to keep an eye out in the coming weeks. Today officially wraps up a busy Mid-Autumn Festival period for us here at the Confucius Institute. Just released this morning was a Lantern Making Workshop in partnership with OzAsia Festival. More information can be found below, along with information about an exciting talk coming up as part of their 'OzAsia Talks' series this year. It is fantastic to see so much still happening despite the festival not being held in the same capacity. We can't wait to see what 2021 looks like for OzAsia Festival!
