2017 Hanyu Qiao Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students
Preliminary Competition for Students from SA
The 10th Annual Hanyu Qiao Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students will be held in Perth on the 15th and 16th of June 2017, with the top four SA students from our preliminary competition being invited to compete.
To enter the preliminary competition all you need to do is record a video of you delivering a speech in Chinese and giving a short Chinese themed performance. The four best entries will win a trip to Perth to compete and the regional finals, where the eventual winners can win a trip to China to compete in the international finals!
More information on this competition and how to enter can be found on this flyer.
The Hanyu Qiao Chinese Proficiency Competition provides an opportunity for students learning Chinese to demonstrate their Chinese proficiency, have a fun and rewarding experience, to meet other students interested in Chinese, and to motivate them to continue pursuing their language studies. The winner of the competition will be invited to compete in the international finals in China in 2017.
